Formal Training Pathway
The Formal Training Pathway is a structured and comprehensive path for individuals seeking membership with the American Academy of Project Management (AAPM). The Formal Training Pathway is designed to guide aspiring members through rigorous training and evaluation, ensuring they meet the high standards AAPM sets.

Prominent Pathway to AAPM-MPM®
The AAPM Hong Kong Chapter reserves the privilege to nominate an individual for recognition as a Master Project Manager (MPM®) in acknowledgement of exemplary professional achievement. This honor is bestowed upon individuals of exceptional eminence who, in the judgment of the Council, have demonstrated outstanding service to the Institute or the profession and possess the capacity, through their position, experience, or eminence, to contribute significantly to the advancement of the AAPM's objectives.
Student Member
Student membership is an entry point to AAPM® membership for full-time students, who can earn excellent opportunities to meet professionals from different industries by joining our CPD and activities.
CPD Requirement
Membership certification must be renewed biennially. To renew, you must fulfil an annual requirement of 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), with a minimum of 2 hours dedicated to work ethic. The scrutiny of CPD hours occurs randomly, and if you participate in non-AAPM activities, document submission for CPD hours is not mandatory during the declaration. Nevertheless, it is crucial to retain these documents securely for a minimum of two years post-course completion.
