Who are we

The American Academy of Project Management (AAPM®) is an international organization. More than 30,000 AAPM®-certified holders in over 140+ counties serve various industries worldwide, including engineering construction, energy, chemical industry, information technology, finance, management consulting, medicine and health, automobile manufacturing, logistics, and transportation.

Our Global Journey

We have a rich history that dates back to 1951. It began in the United States and gradually expanded its presence throughout the Americas during the 1970s. Later, it established itself in Italy and entered the European market. Through Dubai, its influence spread across the entire Arab region. With the help of United Nations non-governmental organizations, the AAPM shared its project management knowledge system widely in African countries such as Rwanda, Kenya, and Nigeria.

Our Global Journey

Headquarters of AAPM® is located in Colorado, United States.  We have chapters and cooperative organizations in 42 countries worldwide.  

Our representative offices are in many parts of the world, including the USA, Colorado, New York, Silicon Valley, Singapore, India, Moscow, Istanbul, Dubai, Athens, Guyana, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Kuwait, Latin America, South America, Europe and China (Beijing, Chongqing and Hong Kong).
