Alan Kwan, the Deputy General Manager of the Building Business Unit at Chun Wo Construction, has been a leading role in Hong Kong’s building construction industry for 27 years. His experience spans construction project management in both the Private and Government sectors in Hong Kong, Macau, and overseas. His deep understanding of the construction business model, operation pattern, and local company structure in the construction industry has consistently led to effective project management under his leadership, instilling confidence in his abilities and expertise.

 

He is a Chartered Builder and a Chartered Civil Engineer; he always applies his building and engineering knowledge to his project management. He also keeps his knowledge updated by attending training from CIC and actively promoting the 4S system by applying the latest Contech equipment and system to his projects to strengthen site safety. As a professional construction industrial practitioner, he also actively promotes ESG through connecting with the HKQAA ESG Connect program to do his best to work on sustainability in the construction industry.

 

By performing his project management skills well, he is able to manage the building projects for a business unit, balance the site operation needs with the necessary revenue, and, at the same time, fulfil the requirements of the company, client, and project teams.
