Isabelle Chan is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the BSc (Surveying) at the University of Hong Kong's Department of Real Estate and Construction. She also serves as Chairman of the Institute of Safety and Health Practitioners, Hong Kong, and holds several other leadership roles in related organizations.
With a focus on construction innovation, health and safety, and sustainable development, she has received recognition for her research through best paper awards and prestigious fellowships, including the Doris-Zimmern Hughes Hall Fellowship at the University of Cambridge, UK.
Isabelle's research interests extend to underground developments, stress management in construction, and leadership. She has secured numerous grants and has disseminated her findings widely through various mediums, including books, international journals, conferences, and seminars.
Additionally, she actively contributes to international committees such as Working Commission W112 – Culture in Construction at CIB and ACUUS – Youth Group (International).
