Event Recap: PM Podcast ELITE TALK 2026 – AI+ Applications in Smart Construction

Under the guidance of moderator Ir Tom Chung, Chairman of the AAPM Hong Kong Chapter's IT Division, the audience gained insights from Hon Duncan Chiu, representing the Technology and Innovation functional constituency of the Legislative Council, alongside Mr. Karel Au of CEO, Autotoll, Prof. Jack Cheng from Professor and Associate Head in Civil and Environmental Engineering, HKUST, and Sr Thomson Lai of Managing Director, Digital, AECOM. Their collective expertise provided a rare look into the strategic integration of AI across government policy, academic research, and large-scale digital engineering.
